What does it feel like to have faith, to hold power, to find community? Disciples is a joyful, dynamic performance that comes to life through a blend of music, movement, text and image – led by poetry.

Devised by an ensemble cast of women and non-binary people who identify as D/deaf, disabled, and neurodivergent the show is a powerful act of collaboration which places often-ignored stories at the centre of its world.

“Equally, the colour of Disciples is as important as the active performances – Zephyr Liddell’s costumes align in a resplendently simplistic shimmer with the stark set..." Dominic Corr

“It has qualities, though, that effortlessly sustain the rapt attention of the audience, including the sheer beauty of the gold-washed set, lighting and costumes. The Scotsman

'An extraordinary show... Lyrical, beautiful, pensive, courageous and moving.' The Scotsman

Disciples is brave, as it is beautiful.' UK Theatre Network
